Mbaracás is a story about the sound of cosmic magnetic waves resonating through our bodies. Told with the aid of amazonian technologies and its synthetization into networked systems. A sonic performance. A conversation between mind shaping instruments: drums, rattles and electric impulses pushed into magnets bouncing sound waves. There is nothing to be cured here. Neither am I a skilled curandero to shake these cosmic particles in any beneficial ways. Can you hear the sound of a comet shouting its way through space? There might not be a place of arrival for this synthetic pan dimensional trip. The amazonian peoples rattle their mbaracás as long as they can in order to keep earth’s balance with the universe.
