Lithic Coda is a fragmentary epilogue to an encounter between a dancer and a rock. Excavating shards of footage filmed on the Swedish island of Gotland and its northern neighbour Fårö – scattered with half-heard sentences on permaculture, an archival interview and the voicing of a small geological collection – the film builds an intermittent picture of the rock’s material place and the dancer’s time within it.
