In the film work* of Hicran Ergen and Sebastian Meyer, many busy bees, flowers, attempted headstands, and looped field recordings form a poetic critique of capitalism in the cinema space as a metaphor for work and rhythm and a reinterpretation of Christiane Rösinger’s song Lob der stumpfen Arbeit (In Praise of Boring Work). Within the framework of EMAF, the artists are presenting a recording of the live scoring of the film’s premiere on 13 November 2021 at the Film Museum.
