This work is a study of the EU border on 16mm analog film. Much like Trump’s infamous US-Mexico border wall, Europe is also keeping humans out of its territory. One of our cruelest borders is in the Mediterranean, a border territory shared by Frontex, the cruise ship industry and oil tankers. During the pandemic, many cruise ships were parked somewhere, some of which were and continue to be kept in the oil and gas port of Augusta. Worlds have been reunited that pretend they are not related.
