scanning potential void for an int u it ion
↳ Vanessa Henning
2021
The work deals with interactions between the digital and the organic as well as the importance of filters and feedback for the construction of reality. An LED and a piece of mesh are scanned in motion. As a result of the form of presentation, the surrounding space becomes a factor that changes the picture, and picture itself becomes a filter that changes the view. Sound machines scan electromagnetic fluctuations and assign them audible frequencies, whereby tonality and rhythm are subjected more to the order of the filter than to the actual potentiality.
