In the film Ohne (Without), which was produced during the second lockdown in the Corona winter of 2020–21, I observed myself and/or the camera observed me. In it, I stand representatively for millions of other people. Inside is all there is—interrupted by occasional intrusions from the outside: text messages, music, and endless stream of hyperactive media coverage. A situation of standstill, between waiting and longing for an awakening.
