Multi-channel installation

Starting from an auditory exploration of our surroundings as well as the collecting of sound material, sound pieces that focus in particular on the identity and structures of the location were conceived. An empty multi-storey car park in the centre of the city became another research subject for our acoustic-artistic work. The abandoned building is located in the middle of a noisy urban sound sphere, but—robbed of its function—it represents a place of silence. The multichannel installation that was produced thus interweaves the various sound works to create a collective resonance space.
