The specialist Time-Based Arts class is a research team. It sounds out narrative and experimental films, projections, sounds, time and time perception, built and medial spaces, bodies and movement, the material and the immaterial in word and deed. Central to the class is the development of an independent artistic language and position. The students of the time-based arts class decide on the means and media to be used to translate their ideas and contents into artistic works in the case of each individual work.

The striving „to produce a picture of something“, to transform one’s own considerations, observations, and ideas into worlds that can be experienced visually, and to translate them into pictures, sounds, and sign systems accompanies us when both making and studying art.
